This series is a series that excels in everything, from the detail, to the adventure and writing.  I really enjoyed reading this series, and I reread it several times.  They were super interesting, and really easy to understand.  I was engrossed in Egyptian monsters, gods and more.  It loses you in Egyptian culture, and you can even learn several things about it.  I wasn’t bored at all when reading it, and each book paled, when compared to the next.  I was constantly in anticipation of what was going to happen next, and I couldn’t wait to read the next book in the series.

I think the final book was an excellent finale to this amazing series.  This would have to be a 5 Star rating.  I think a big strength of these books is that this is not a normal book, and so unique.  This uniqueness is what really made this book excellent in my opinion.  This isn’t a very advanced series, with a very easy to understand story line. It does have some violence, but I can still confidently rate it for ages 8+. This will appeal to younger and older readers alike, and anyone will have fun and enjoy reading this.

Common Questions About TombQuest

What age is TombQuest appropriate for?

TombQuest is recommended for ages 8-10 (Grades 3rd-5th). There's some violence, but nothing too intense for this age group. The story is really easy to understand with a straightforward storyline, so it works well for kids who are comfortable with chapter books. I was engrossed the entire time and gave it 5 Stars.

What order should I read TombQuest?

Read in order: Book of the Dead, Amulet Keepers, Valley of Kings, The Stone Warriors, and The Final Kingdom. Each book builds on the last, with bigger Egyptian monsters, gods, and more dangerous quests. The final book was an excellent finale. You definitely need to read these in order.

Is TombQuest similar to The Kane Chronicles?

Both series use Egyptian mythology, but they're quite different. The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan is more humorous and has older characters (10-14 age range), while TombQuest is more of a straightforward adventure for younger readers (8-10). TombQuest also has a unique interactive element — it was originally designed with an online game companion. If your kid likes Egyptian mythology, reading both series is a great idea. Both are on BookVine.
